Ms. Dorothy Jean Gilliam Speight, age 85, of 312 N. Travis Street, Stantonsburg, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, September 13, 2025.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 at 11 am at Carrons Funeral Home Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the St. Delight Cemetery, 2322 Speights Bridge Rd., Walstonburg, NC,

A public viewing will be Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at 710 Harper St., Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 10 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Speight Family in your thoughts and prayers.
