Dorothy Higgs

Mrs. Dorothy Higgs, age 84, of Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.  A private funeral service for family will be held.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Dolores Brathwaite of Wilson, NC  and Peggy Snell of Marietta GA; eight children, Jo Ann Webb  of Brunswick GA , John Eli (Maryland) of Chesapeake VA, 1st Lieutenant James Gray of Wilson, NC, Keith Higgs, Sr. (Virginia) of Wilson NC, Darryl Brathwaite of New York, NY, Gayle Brathwaite (James) of Wilson NC, Lieutenant Commander Kim Brathwaite of Pearsall, TX, Lawarence Brathwaite of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Shannon, Terrence, Kris, Zina, James Jr., Shareena,  Kysha, Keith Jr., Zakiyyah and Shance, her great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
