Dorothy Chapman Atkins

Ms. Dorothy Chapman Atkins, age 79, of Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 18, 2021.  Funeral service will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1 pm at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.  

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her two daughters, Gloria Chapman Finch of Wilson and Sheila Atkins of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Conell Chapman, Stephanie Randolph, Shequita Williams-Womack, Shenetta McGill, Nikkita McDowell, Nequilla Greene, and Andrew Stewart; twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild as well as two special nieces, Patricia Blackston and Linda Tucker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and very dear friends.
