Dontra Jermal Barnes

Mr. Dontra Jermal Barnes, age 29, of 3715 Dianne Drive NW,  Apt. B, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  Due to the anticipation of inclement weather the location of the funeral service has been changed to St. Paul Church of Christ, 4009 Lake Wilson Road., Wilson.  The service will still take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2 pm.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Wilson.  

Loving memories are left to be cherished by his parents, Jaguan "Kim" Barnes and Dontra Terrell Speight; three siblings, Jazzmyn Speight, Kaylen Speight, and Cameron Speight; grandparents, Daniel Ellis and Faye Ellis, Willie Baker and Vivian Baker, and Albert Ellis; three uncles, Erwin Barnes (Vickie), Antonio Ellis (Lakresha), and Antonio Speight; two aunts, Levita Speight and Shauna Farmer (Chaz); one niece, Ke'Laysia Kearney; one nephew, Mishon Kearney; other special relatives and friends, including one special brother, Mike Collins.

A public viewing will be Friday, Mar. 31, 2023 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson.  Please lift the Barnes family up in prayer.
