Donna Edwards Tyson

Ms. Donna Edwards Tyson, age 60, of 2506 Fitch Drive, Wilson was called to her eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2019.  A celebration of her life and legacy will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Lane St. Ext., Wilson. Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the eulogy, and Elder Kenneth West will preside.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. 

Loving and lasting memories are forever cherished by her daughters, Jonesha Sheri Horne (Christopher) and Ashley T. Thomas (Tukulve) all of Wilson, NC; her mother, Dorothy Edwards of Wendell, NC; two sisters, Verna J. Edwards of Wendell, NC and Lois E. Peoples (Carl) of Dayton, OH; one brother, Harold D. Barnes of Rowlett, TX; three grandchildren, Janiyah Thomas, Jeremiah Thomas and Christopher Horne all of Wilson, NC; her very special friend, Earl Bynum; one niece, three nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 East Nash Street, Wilson.  An inspirational wake will follow from 7 pm to 8 pm at St. Rose Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 605 S. Douglas Street, Wilson.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the Tyson Family during this difficult time.
