Obituary
Darryl Gilliam Smith, Esq., age 74, of Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A service of remembrance will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Jackson Chapel First Missionary Baptist Church, 571 Nash St. E, Wilson, NC. Private interment will be held.
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Memorial Service will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Jackson Chapel Church. Please keep the Smith Family in your thoughts and prayers.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Legal Aid of Wilson, NC, 208 Goldsboro St. E, Wilson, NC 27893. Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120. They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
