Daisy Lee Dawson Newsome

Ms. Daisy Lee Dawson Newsome, age 93, of 422 Garner Street, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.  A celebration of life will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Mt. Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist  Church, 810 Black Creek Rd., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, May 12, 2023 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 1:30 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Newsome family lifted up in prayer during this difficult time.
