Cherish D'ior Newsome

Princess Cherish D"ior Newsome, age eight months, of  1119 Meadow St., Wilson passed away Saturday, Nov. 30. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 1 pm at Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. Elder Timothy Moore will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Precious memories are forever cherished by her parents, Lucille Mix and Travis Newsome; two siblings, Unity Newsome and Kallin Coley; her grandmothers, Francis Crowder who was also her caregiver and Connie Briggs (Junie); her grandfathers, Ronnie Taylor (Joyce) and Charles Harriston; four aunts, Jennifer Herring (Michael), Shantelle Crowder, Marteka Brunson and Antoinetta Fleming; six uncles, Antwan Newsome, Travis Fleming, Demetrius Whitted (Lisa), Antonio Bynum, Shante Fleming and Anquan Bynum; a special great aunt, Florine Moore (Elder Timothy Moore); two godmothers, Towanda Cooper and Keisha Neal; a host of other great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Newsome family in prayer during this most difficult time.
