Charles Lindburg Barnes

Mr. Charles Lindburg Barnes, age 87, of 824 Appie Road, Stantonsburg, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.  A celebration of his life and legacy will be Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at 1 pm at Carrons Funeral Home Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  

A public viewing will be Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family is receiving friends at 143 Sand Pit Road, Stantonsburg, NC and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Barnes family in your thoughts and prayers.
