Mr. Carr Davis "Carl" Smith, age 61, of 602 Gray Street, Elm City, North Carolina transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026 at 12 pm at Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Wednesday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Smith Family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
