Ms. Carolyn Joyce Williams Mercer, age 73, of 1745 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Apt. 117, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, July 20, 2026.  Funeral service will be Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12:00 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Williams and Mercer Family in your prayers.
