Betty Doris Finch Thomas

Mother Betty Finch Thomas, age 67, of 1906 Hillman Drive, Wilson was called from labor to reward on Saturday, February 2, 2019.  A celebration of her life and work will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street East, Wilson.  Bishop Robert L. Gorham will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Left to remember her with love and thankfulness are her loving and devoted husband, Bishop Willie Thomas of the home; her daughter, Taforrest Parrott (Glenn) of Grayson, GA; her sons, Corey Thomas (Jenifer) of Clemmons, NC, Marcus Thomas (Demetris) and Tukulve Thomas (Ashley) of Wilson, NC; one stepdaughter, Felicia Clay of Wilson, NC; four sisters, Bernice Walker of Trenton, NJ, Annie Artis (Freeman) and Peggy Finch of Stantonsburg, NC and Rose Mitchell of Saratoga, NC; one adopted sister, Susie Finch Douglas (James) of Wilson, NC; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five aunts, three uncles, two special nieces, Dymeshia Finch and Vienary Tanskley; Her goddaughter, Monisha Gorham; her godson, Ceasar White; a host other of relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 513 East Barnes Street, Wilson followed by an inspirational wake from 7 pm to 8 pm at the church. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 1 pm on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the Thomas Family in prayer during this difficult time.
