Barbara Ann Cox Townsend

Ms. Barbara Ann Cox Townsend, age 77, of 138 Thomas Boyland Dr., Brooklyn, New York formerly of Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.  A celebration of life will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Jun. 7, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family is receiving friends at 510 Granger St., Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 12:30 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please remember the Cox and Townsend Family in your prayers during this difficult time.
