Androcus Renfrow

Mr. Androcus Renfrow, age 87, of 209 Dewey Street, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  A celebration of his life and work will be Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 2 pm at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.

While he is gone, he will not be forgotten.  Loving and lasting memories of a life well lived are forever cherished by his devoted children, Isaac Renfrow of Salt Lake City, Utah, Angela Renfrow Battle (Linwood) of Wilson, NC, Anthony Renfrow (Tamara) of Folson, CA and Raymond Renfrow (Daisy) of Wilson, NC; grandchildren, Lynn, Michael, Rochelle, Ronald, Darrell, LaTasha, Andrew, Shanita, Alesia, Kenya, Raymond, JR. Ellyn, and Kendra; great grandchildren, Tiara, Michael, Mason, Olivia, Savannah, Mia, Damien, Carter, Devin, Zion, Kaia, Jayslin, Zane, Amina, Traya, Sonja, Julian, Axel and Andre; his beloved sister, Grace Renfrow Hall of Capitol Heights, MD; his brothers-in-law, Lonnie E. Barnes of Washington, DC, and Freddie Cox of Philadelphia, PA; his special “bestie” cousin, Evangelist Robena Cox; special caring neighbors, Anthony Moore; longtime friends, Noble and Pat Carter; a host of beloved nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson with an inspirational wake to follow from 6 pm to 8 pm at Johnson Chapel Church, 317 Beauvue Rd., Elm City, NC.  The family is receiving friends at 3354 NC Highway 42, Wilson and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday, Apr. 16 at 1 pm in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Renfrow family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
