Albert Ray Sessoms

Mr. Albert Ray "Aldo" Sessoms, age 70, of 200 Canal Street, Lot 100 Wilson was called to eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2020.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12 noon at St. Mary's Church, Bailey, North Carolina.  Pastor Laura Williams will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving and lasting memories are cherished by his three daughters, Betty Carol Sessoms (Alton) of Wilson, NC, Sharon Carr (Timothy) of Zebulon, NC and Carla Sessoms (Calvin) of Garner, NC; three sisters, Emma Sessoms and Joyce Dowdy of Bailey, NC and Bettie Sessoms of Winston Salem, NC; four brothers, Theodore Sessoms (Sheila) of Bailey, NC, Leroy Sessoms (Mary) of Zebulon, NC, Hodges Sessoms (Sherbie)  and Gerald Sessoms (Faye) of Wilson, NC; ten grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Kyree Dickerson, Demontae Sessoms, Malik Harris, Teyara and Keyara Barnes, Trevon Faison, Zion Sessoms, Jac’Quira Blue, Jalen Signal, Tameya Carr and Eboni Cannady; five great grandchildren; one uncle, Harvey Wiggins of Rocky Mount, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including his caregiver and special friend, Dot Lucas of Wilson, NC.   

A viewing will be held Saturday from 10:45 am to 11:45 am at St. Mary's Church, Bailey, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 11 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Sessoms family in prayer during this difficult time.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
