Alana Jaidai Lucas

Miss Alana Jaidai Lucas, age 18, of 101 Cedar Ridge Trail, Elm City passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1 pm at Miracle of Faith Ministries, 2112 NC Highway 42, Wilson. Apostle Ronald Whitehead will be the eulogist, and Associate Pastor James Sharpe will preside. Interment will follow in the Whitehead Family Cemetery.

Precious memories are forever cherished by her mother, Alyssa Denise Whitehead of the home; her father, David Lucas (Tomeka) of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Aaliyah Jaimya Brewton of the home and Davia Angelique Lucas of Wilson, NC; maternal grandmother, Ruby Whitehead of Wilson, NC;paternal grandmother, Dorothy israel Lucas of Wilson, NC; her maternal grandfather, Edward Whitehead of the home; four aunts, Cassandra Lea Whitehead, Ashim Jabril, Rashim Jabril and Kisa Lucas; three uncles, Monte Ray Whitehead (Tihisha), Donald Israel and Rahim Jabril; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends, including close family friends, Natalia Manley, Dominic Watkins, Tiasia Williams, Zameya Smith and Alisha Strayhorn.

A public viewing will be Saturday from 11 am to 12:45 pm at Miracle of Faith. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 12 noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
